Leading by the Dean of Guanghua School of Management, Peking University, Professor Cai Hongbin, the delegation from Guanghua School of Management visited School of Management, UCAS. Executive Dean of School of Management, UCAS, Prof. Wang Shouyang lead some of the faculty from School of Management and Academy of Mathematics and System Sciences, CAS received the visit.
On behalf of Professor Cheng Siwei, the Dean of School of Management, UCAS, Prof. Wang welcomed the delegation from Guanghua School of Management and introduced the background of the meeting this time. Professor Wang Shouyang said, the meeting this time was suggested by the ex-president of Peking University, the Academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Academician Wang Enge. Academician Wang Enge hoped that the two sides could select the relevant research areas and co-establish joint research team to promote the substantive cooperation between the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Peking University.
Subsequently, Professor Wang Shouyang briefly introduced the economic forecasting and early warning work, the database, the situation of research cooperation, the personnel training of innovation and entrepreneurship of CAS. Prof. Cai Hongbin introduced the research situation of the discipline development and the financial field of Guanghua School of Management.
Then the two sides made deep discussion on the interest areas, and formed a consensus on elected courses, faculty exchange and resource sharing.
The two sides agreed to carry out further talks as soon as possible to implement the cooperation.
