The School Opens New Chapters in Cooperating with Prestigious Taiwan Universities

To enhance management education as well as international and inter-regional cooperation, the School carries out active cooperation with famous universities of management from across the world. The purpose is to complete the School’s mission of “leading the revolution of Chinese management and becoming a business school with an international reputation”, and to fulfill the vision of “creating knowledge, contributing ideas, educating leaders and influencing society.”

 

The School has now established dual degree system and short-term educational programs with multiple Euro-American prestigious universities. Taiwan, in terms of historical development, introduces the ideas, system and methods of modern enterprise management earlier than the mainland; enterprises in Taiwan also precede their mainland counterparts in practicing the managerial system and methods of modern enterprises; their management education is also tightly associated with enterprises, and their professors are rich in cooperative experiences with enterprises. On the basis of this, the School plans to conduct in-depth cooperation with famous schools of management in Taiwan district so that common development of management education across the straits can be promoted. In autumn, Professor Wang Shouyang, Executive Dean of the School, and his colleagues went to Taiwan for in-depth cooperation.

 

Between October 16th and 22nd, the delegation of the School to Taiwan, led by Professor Wang Shouyang, Executive Dean of the School, Professor Dong Jichang, Deputy Dean of the School, Associate Professor Xu Jian, Assistant Dean, Professor Gong Qiguo, Executive Deputy Director of the MBA Center, and Ms. Yang Danjing, Director of the Office visited the schools of business and schools of management in National Taiwan University, National Chengchi University, National Tsing Hua University, National Taiwan Normal University, National Cheng Kung University and Sun Yat-Sen University, and conducted talks with the person-in-charges of respective universities.
