School of Management Attended AMBA Asia-Pacific Annual Conference for Deans

AMBA Asia –Pacific Annual Conference for Deans was held in Messay University in New Zealand from Nov. 12 to 14. More than 30 deans from business schools attended the conference. Professor Zhao Hong, Vice Dean of School of Management, and Associate Professor Zhang Lingling, Director of International Accreditation Center, attended the conference at the invitation.

The themes of the conference included Development and Strategy of AMBA, How to Make Courses Meet Demands of Employers, How Should Business Schools Influence Behaviors, and Global MBA Development Trend.

 

Professor Zhao Hong was present at the Roundtable Forum, whose theme was MBA in China. The forum was hosted by Professor Wang Zhongming, Chief delegate of AMBA in China. On the forum, Professor Zhao Hong introduced features of MBA program in School of Management, UCAS, and our experience in Entrepreneurship MBA. She also discussed with other deans and experts on fostering students’ innovative spirit and promoting hatchability of start-ups. On the forum for Directors, Associate Professor Zhang Lingling also had a heated discussion with other directors on coordination with other departments and improvement of MBA thesis.
