The Annual Meeting of IFF(2013) was held in Beijing from Dec. 13th to 15th. The theme of the meeting was Restarting Reform: the Future of the World and China. As Chairman of IFF, Dean Cheng Siwei attended the meeting and delivered a speech on the opening ceremony. He also announced the list of the members of the third term of the council of IFF. On this meeting, Dean Cheng Siwei was elected Chairman of this international academic organization.
Cheng Siwei mentioned three measures to promote the internationalization of RMB on the meeting: exchange rate regime reform, RMB capital account convertibility, and capital account opening.
