International Programs

1 The Dual Degree PhD/Triple Degree MSc Program with University of Groningen

The Dual Degree PhD/Triple Degree MSc Program between the Faculty of Management of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) and the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Groningen (FEB/RUG) aims to enhance research cooperation and academic exchange between the two universities through joint training of graduate students. After completing the required credits and the dissertation, the UCAS graduate students will receive the degree from UCAS and RUG respectively.

 

2 Ph.D. double degree program with the City University of Hong Kong 

According to the cooperation and exchange agreement between the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences and the City University of Hong Kong, the involved specialization is in the subject areas for which the two universities already have the right to confer doctoral degrees.

 

3 JOINT PHD SUPERVISION SCHEME with The Hong Kong Polytechnic University 

The School of Economics and Management, UCAS has a joint doctoral supervision program with the Faculty of Business, Economics and Management of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Each year students from the School of Economics and Management, UCAS will be selected by both parties to spend one year working and studying at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University as research assistants. Each PhD student receives supervision from both universities, with the lead supervisor from UCAS and the associate supervisor from Polytechnic University. Research areas include: finance, accounting, logistics, shipping, management and marketing. Research topics will be jointly developed by both supervisors. Doctoral students will receive a PhD degree from UCAS after passing the examination.

 

4 Education and research collaboration with the Governing Council of the University of Toronto

The Governing Council of the University of Toronto on behalf of the Master of Mathematical Finance Program at the Faculty of Arts & Science and the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences on behalf of its Economics and Management School has developed joint activities such as: joint research collaborations, joint courses, joint supervision undergraduate and student training etc.

 

5 Master program with MIP Politecnico di Milano

MIP Politecnico di Milano – Graduate School of Business S.C.p.A. has opened the Master program in “Consumer Goods Inovation and Marketing to the students of the School of Economics and Management, UCAS. This cooperation aims to develop a program under the framework of the ACE Alliance and address to the ACE students attending the “Master in Consumer Goods Inovation and Marketing”.

 

6 The MBA Program and non-degree training program with A.B. Freeman School of Business

The A.B. Freeman School of Business, Tulane University has opened the Fast-Track MBA Program, the Alliance Global MBA Program and non-degree training program for executives to the students of the School of Economics and Management, UCAS.
