On the afternoon of April 26th, Vice Dean of Tsinghua School of Economics and Management Prof. Qian Xiaojun was invited to exchange AACSB accreditation work at our school. The exchanging meeting was hosted by Vice Dean of School of Economics and Management of University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Prof.Wu Desheng, Vice Dean of School of Economics and Management of University of Chinese Academy of Sciences Prof.Zhao Hong and Deputy Secretary of the Party branch of School of Economics and Management of University of Chinese Academy of Sciences Tan Hongjun and AACSB accreditation team members attended the exchanging meeting.

School of Economics and Management of Tsinghua University earn AACSB accreditation in 2007 It is the first business school that was accredited in mainland China. Prof. Qian Xiaojun, who served as the director of the international assessment and accreditation office of School of Economics and Management of Tsinghua University from 2006 to 2013, is very familiar with the AACSB accreditation standards and processes. In the exchanging meeting, Prof. Qian Xiaojun mainly talked about the understanding and practice of School of Economics and Management of Tsinghua University participating in international accreditation, and pointed out the significance of obtaining accreditation for business school. At the same time, Prof. Qian Xiaojun also a detailed interpretation of AACSB accreditation standards, and patiently answered specific questions proposed our school.
This exchanging meeting helped our school realize the complexity of the work of AACSB accreditation. And the successful experience of School of Economics and Management of Tsinghua University has also provided a good reference for the accreditation of our school.
