In order to fully implement the "three faces" and "four firsts" that General Secretary Xi Jinping proposed while inspecting CAS, to further strengthen the academic research ability building, to accelerate the rate of scientific research achievements, to improve the personnel training system, to build high-end think-tank in PPT field, to become a leading PPP research institution, and world-class PPP professionals training organization, the first meeting of the academic committee of China PPP Research Center of University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, was held in the School of Economics and Management of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences on April 24th.

Jin Yongxiang attended the meeting.
The meeting was hosted by Wang Shouyang. First of all, Wang Shouyang welcomed the experts on behalf of the school of economics and management of UCAS and thanked them for their support to the school and China PPP research center. Director of the administrative office of the research center Dr. Li Xiuting reported to the academic committee the achievements the center had made since its establishment in academic research, personnel training, policy research and business consulting. Deputy director of the academic committee Meng Chun and member of the academic committee Dong Jichang made a report on the development planning of the center. All participants had an in-depth discussion on the business scope and future development of the center.
In the meeting, Zheng Xinli gave recognition of the work the center had done in the past, and put forward new requirements on future development of the center. He pointed out that PPP as the core of the investment and financing system reform is one of the three key points of China's current economic development. Jiao Xiaoping, Meng Chun, Wang Shouyang, and Nie Changhong proposed suggestions and requirements on collaborative research, team building, personnel training and other aspects. At the end of the meeting, Zheng Xinli summed up the meeting and pointed out the direction of the next phase of work for the academic committee.
