On May 17, experts of Chinese Advanced Management Education Accreditation came to SEM to perform field research. The experts included Shanghai Jiaotong University Prof. Fanghua Wang, deputy director of the Office of Chinese Advanced Management Education Accreditation Mr. Jingming Zhu, Assessment Department of Degree and Postgraduate Education Development Center of Ministry of Education Ms. Tingting Han.
Deputy secretary of CPC and vice president of UCAS Prof. Junshe Dong, Dean of SEM Prof. Shouyang Wang and vice dean Prof. Yong Shi, Prof. Hong Zhao and Prof. Jichang Dong hospitably received them.
Prof. Junshe Dong introduced the development situation and running features of SEM. He hopes SEM can improve their capacity as well as find out and solve the problems through the Accreditation.
Prof. Shouyang Wang introduced SEM from the history, mission, vision, governance structure, discipline construction, faculty, research, international cooperation, social services and so on.
Director of MBA education center Prof. Jian Xu introduced the situation of MBA program from educational objectives, quality assurance system, continuous improvement plan etc.
After report, the experts introduced the significance, standards and the focus of accreditation. They also answered the questions on-site.
In the afternoon, experts visited the classroom, laboratory and ancillary facilities. They also made a conversation with some faculty and administration staff.
