The EU Horizon Heart Project Participated by Professor Ping Lyu Sucessfully Concluded

The EU research project "heart" participated by Professor Ping Lyu 's research group held the last seminar online on July 6, 2021, at which a broad consensus was reached. The project was funded by the European Commission under the framework of "EU h2020-msca-itn-2017 heart project" (Project No.: 766139). It aimed to apply information and communication technology in the field of life and health, and the funding amount ed to 1.5 million Euros. The European participants of the project included Philips of the Netherlands, the University of Leuven in Belgium and the University of Macherata in Italy, and the Chinese participants included Fudan University and the University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Based on this project, Professor Wei Chen's team of Fudan University and Professor Ping Lyu 's team of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences also jointly applied for the key project of the national key R & D plan of the Ministry of Science and Technology "Intergovernmental International Scientific and Technological Innovation Cooperation" and the China- EU intergovernmental cooperation project  "Research on Health-related Activity Identification System Based on Internet of things and Data Integration". The research work had been successfully completed.


As a key member, Professor Ping Lyu deeply participated in the project and made a summary report at the conference. As a highly interdisciplinary international cooperation project, the team led by Professor Lyu mainly conducted in-depth research on the industrial evolution in the field of global and emerging economies Internet of things and health management , the competitive game between traditional multinational corporations and enterprises in emerging economies, and the consumption behavior and cognition of European intergenerational consumers on relevant new technology products, which provided insights for the project based on industrial and commercial perspectives.
