On April 22, 2021, Elsevier, a global information analysis company, officially released the list of highly cited Chinese researchers in 2020. The 2020 Elsevier "Chinese highly cited researchers" list takes Scopus, the global authoritative citation and index database, as the data source of Chinese researchers' scientific research achievements, and adopts the selection method designed by ShanghaiRanking Consultancy, and finally obtains 4023 Chinese researchers with the most global influence in various disciplines from 373 universities, enterprises and scientific research institutions.
The list released this time covered 84 first-tier disciplines in 10 discipline categaries of the Ministry of education. Professors of SEM were selected into three first-tier disciplines (Applied Economics, Management Science and Engineering, Agricultural Economics and Management) in two discipline categaries (Management and Economics). The professors selected in this list are: Yongmiao Hong, Shouyang Wang, Yong Shi, Jianping Li, Desheng Wu, Jiancheng Guan, Linxiu Zhang.
