On May 7, 2021, the dean appointment meeting of SEM was held at the Zhongguancun campus, with the participation of all faculty and staff of SEM. It was announced by Jjunshe Dong, Executive Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President of UCAS that Professor Yongmiao Hong would be appointed as the Dean of SEM, Professor Jianping Li would be appointed as the Executive Vice Dean of SEM, and Professor Shouyang Wang would no longer take the position of the Dean of SEM.
