On January 29, 2021, China Journal of Econometrics held the launching ceremony of its first issue in Beijing. More than 1600 teachers and students, including famous Chinese economists Tongsan Wang , Shantong Li , Xikang Chen, Chongen Bai and Yiping Huang , witnessed this historical moment.
In December 2020, with the approval of the National Press and Publication Administration, China Journal of Econometrics was officially launched, and the two editors in chief are Shouyang Wang and Yongmiao Hong.
The Advisory Committee of the Journal is composed of 17 famous scholars at home and abroad. The Editorial board of Journal is composed of more than 70 well-known scholars active in the frontier of Econometrics theory and application at home and abroad. Mr. Gregory Chow, an internationally renowned economist, agreed to set up the "Gregory Chow Best Paper Award" to reward the best paper published in the Journal and encourage authors all over the world to publish their best research work in this journal.
The two editors in chief said that they would strive to make the Journal one of the best Chinese journals in the field of Economics within 3-5 years.
