On July 4, SEM started Natioanl Summer School of Economics and Management for Undergraduates(2021). More than 100 excellent students from universities all over the country gathered online and offline to start a new learning journey with SEM.
At 9 a.m. on July 5, the opening ceremony of the 2021 Summer School was held, and in the following 4 days, ten academic reports were delivered to the students by SEM faculty, namely, Professor Jianbin Jiao, Professor Chaoying Tang, Professor Lingling Zhang, Associate Professor Xiuting Li, Professor Qiguo Gong, Associate Professor Hongbo Duan, Professor Yongmiao Hong, Professor Desheng Wu, Professor Ynamei Xu, Professor Xiaoyan Zhu, and Professor Zuoji Dong. Students also were arranged to hear the experience from the senior students so that they could have a clearer picture of life and studey at UCAS. Moreover, students had opportunities to meet with the faculty of SEM face to face by disciplines. The teachers answered the questions from the students and help the students to understand what and how they should do if they chose to continue their granduate education at SEM.
on July 8th, the closing ceremony witnessed the gains of the undergraduate students. Everyone said that the five-day Summer School would be a beautiful memory in their life and they hoped to come back to the campus and became a member of SEM in the near future.
