On December 30, 2020, Professor Shouyang Wang, Dean of the School of Economics and Management of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Professor Hongbin Cai, Dean of the Business School of Hong Kong University, officially signed the memorandum of cooperation for the financial technology laboratory project on behalf of the two schools.
The cooperation combines the expertise of the two universities in finance, machine learning and engineering system research to create a pioneering financial technology research and exchange platform, support joint research and project application, and further encourage scholars with rich teaching and research experience to have closer exchanges. In addition, the two schools will jointly guide outstanding young scholars and graduate students and cultivate a new generation of scientific researchers. The two universities will also share insights and achievements through research, publication and academic exchange activities, which will bring benefits to a wide range of social groups.
