On March 3, 2022, Prof. Guowei Hua, Vice Dean of the School of Economics and Management of Beijing Jiaotong University, visited SEM of UCAS and exchanged views on the international accreditation of business schools. Prof. Jianping Li, Executive Vice Dean of SEM,UCAS, Prof. Ping Lyu,who is in charge of the international accreditation, and all the staff, attended the meeting.
Prof. Hua emphasized the importance of international accreditation for business schools, shared the process of his school’s participation in the three major international accreditations, and introduced the EQUIS accreditation in particular. He also exchanged views on how business schools can continue to improve.
Getting internationally accredited means that the business schools’ teaching quality has been recognized and guaranteed by international standards. At present, SEM of UCAS has obtained two international accreditations: AACSB and AMBA, and has begun to launch EQUIS international accreditation. This exchange activity not only strengthened the exchanges between the two schools, but also played an important role in promoting the international accreditation of EQUIS.
