SEM Sponsored Shuangqing Forum "Supply Chain Resilience and Supply Chain Security"

Shuangqing Forum "Supply Chain Resilience and Supply Chain Security" of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (hereinafter referred to as NSFC) was held in Beijing from April 28 to 29, 2022. The forum was jointly organized by the Management Science Department, the Information Science Department, the Mathematical Physics Science Department and the Planning and Policy Bureau of NSFC, and sponsored by the School of Economics and Management, UCAS. More than 40 experts from management, information, mathematics and other disciplines attended the forum.

Professor Shouyang Wang of SEM co-chaired the forum and delivered a speech at the opening ceremony. He introduced the challenges that China's supply chain system is facing, hoping that the follow-up research can form a new theory and methodology in supply chain management.

Focusing on the three topics of "Complex supply chain network modeling and risk spreading mechanism", "Global supply chain competition, cooperation and coordination mechanism" and "Supply chain security strategy, resilience improvement and dynamic risk management", the forum discussed major scientific issues model construction, risk management, competition and cooperation in the field of in supply chain resilience and in the field of supply chain, reexamined relevant theories and methodology in supply chain resilience and risk management, and put forward important problems that need to be paid attention to and solved.

The experts attending the conference believed that it is of great significance to systematically study the key issues such as supply chain network modeling and risk spreading mechanism, supply chain competition and cooperation coordination mechanism, and construct management theory and methodology suitable for China's supply chain resilience and safety, so as to improve the anti-risk ability of China's supply chain.
