On June 30, 2022, SEM and CDA(China Data Analysis and Research Hub, Austria)jointly organized an international webinar “Innovation and Green Finance”. The webinar themed “Gearing Capital, Corporates and Science towards a global Circular Economy”,focusing on the hot and cutting-edge issues of climate change, low-carbon and green financial development that are widely concerned by the international community. A number of scholars and experts from Chinese and European academic circles and the industry were invited to attend the webinar and make keynote reports. During the meeting, the participants had a warm exchange and discussion.
Hong Yongmiao, Dean of SEM at UCAS, first extended a warm welcome to the guests on behalf of the organizers, and introduced SEM’s history, characteristics, and contributions to the social development. He also introduced the cooperation between SEM and CDA, hoping this joint webinar would be a good start to lay a solid foundation for long-term research cooperation between the two sides in the future.
