In December 2022, Xiamen International Bank signed a cooperation agreement with UCAS to support the discipline construction and research of SEM. According to the agreement, Xiamen International Bank would provide a total amount of 4.5 million CNY to set up the Education Development Fund to support SEM’s discipline development, scientific research, talent cultivation, personnel incentive, holding academic conferences, lectures, and summer schools, etc., as well as carrying out special studies in the financial industry, and setting up chair professors. The two sides would cooperate in the research of evaluation of financial technology competitiveness as well.
