Recently, MOE Social Science Lab of Digital Economic Forecasts and Policy Simulation at UCAS was officially put into use. The laboratory was run by SEM and is the first laboratory approved by the Ministry of Education at UCAS.
SEM attaches great importance to the standardization and specialization of the lab and has made clear development plan for the lab. With the support of UCAS, the lab started construction in August 2022 and has completed all construction projects by now.
The lab is located at Zhongguancun campus, with a computer room, an AR area and a conference area; There are 30 fixed seats, and each is equipped with a computer terminal. The lab is equipped with LED display screen and electronic blackboard to display various real time data. It is also equipped with audio and video equipment so that online academic conferences can be held synchronously. In addition, the lab has installed High Performance Computing Clusters and a number of databases and statistical computing software.
