On March 21, in room S101 at Zhongguancun Classroom Building, more than hundred MBA and regular master students attended and enjoyed a seminar on trust business. As the fourth lecture of the “high-level lecture series for MBA students of 2012 spring semester”, Dr. Xu Junhua, the president of the National Modern Financial Holdings Co. LTD, gave a seminar named “Trust System and Trust Business”.
First, Dr. Xu introduced the concept, origin, and evolution of trust. He described the contents of trust business, the emergence and development of the modern trust system, the core of the trust system, and the distinctions between trust and other financial behaviors. Next, Dr. Xu introduced the history of trust business industry in China, including trust corporations’ business, operational model, and trust product design. Lastly, Dr. Xu answered students’ questions, and he called for attention from the GUCAS students to witness the bright future of the trust business.
Trust business is a safe and promising asset management system. The seminar serves as a firm basis for MBA students of GUCAS to further their understanding about economics and to broaden their career horizons.
