On the evening of April 25, at the invitation of MBA Center of the School of Management, Mr. He Shenyuan from China Export Credit Insurance Corporation(CECIC) lectured to the students on the subject of “Export Credit Insurance – a Policy-based Financial Instrument to push the international trade.

Mr. He first explained related concepts of export credit insurance, including different definitions for export credit in ethics, law and economics, four elements that constitute insurance system and characteristics of export and credit insurance. Then he furthered his introduction to classification, function and industry organization of export credit insurance. Mr. He also explained business operation and procedures of short-term, medium and long-term export credit insurance and overseas investment insurance. Based on this, he analyzed the history and new trends and risk of export credit insurance from the viewpoint of the nation, the industry and the buyers.
