Bai Yunfeng, President and CEO of Bejing National Electric Energy Co. Ltd. walked into “Career Management” class

On May 9, Mr. Bai Yunfeng, the president and CEO of Beijing National Electric Energy Co. Ltd. walked into “Career Management” class at the invitation of Prof. Zhao Hong vice dean of the School of Management, to make a report on career planning.

Mr. Bai got his Bachelor’s degree from North China Electric Power University, Master’s degree from Renmin University of China and Doctorate in Thermophysics from Zhejiang University. In 2003, he joined Beijing Boqi Power Technology Co. Ltd. Under his leadership, the company became listed in Tokyo, Japan four years later, and he was named “the youngest CEO of listed company ever” by Tokyo Stock Exchange.

 

Mr. Bai shared his personal experience in the work with the students, and analyzed the common issues existing in career planning, such as poor communication skills, unrealistic and so on. He also explained how to communicate with others, how to learn, how to construct one’s own knowledge system, how to manage one’s interpersonal relationship and the importance of these factors in upgrading personal values and promoting occupational success. Mr. Bai told the students that always being sincere and kind to others and doing good as much as possible should not only be the goal of life, but also the key to the interpersonal relations at the workplace.

 

In his report, Mr. Bai also offered some suggestion in improving work competitiveness. His sincerity won him warm applause from the students.
