Prof. Ko Wang from Baruch College, the City University of New York, at the invitation of Prof. Dong Jichang, the vice dean of School of Management, gave an academic report to our faculty and students on Oct, 30.
Prof. Wang Shouyang, the executive dean of School of Management, made a welcome address and issued the letter of appointment as an honorary professor to Ko Wang.

The report was entitled “The Dynamics of Housing Prices”. In his report, Prof. Wang shared with the audience his research on American dynamics of housing prices. By structuring models from the angle of demand and price equilibrium, and by conducting empirical study with the prices of housing in large cities from 1980 to 2008, he found that the fluctuation of prices of the houses showed certain sequence correlation.
