On Dec. 3, the 4th National MBA Conference was held in Dalian. Prof. Wang Shouyang, the executive vice dean, Prof. Dong Jichang, the vice dean, associate Prof. Gong Qiguo, the executive deputy director of MBA Center and two other teachers attended the conference.
The theme of the conference was “Problems and difficulties Facing China’s MBA and EMBA Education and Policy Suggestions”. Centering on this theme, the participants discussed 8 topics in groups, namely, market positioning and unique development of MBA programs, MBA teaching cases development, quality guarantee of EMBA education, cultivation of MBA students’ comprehensive abilities, internationalization of MBA education, MBA practical teaching and school-enterprise cooperation, MBA education quality guarantee, and MBA faculty construction.
Gong Qiguo made a report on the cultivation of MBA students’ comprehensive abilities. In the report, he told the real story of an MBA student’s studying, growth, starting the business and success. He shared his experience and puzzles in the MBA teaching, which led to other participants heated discussion.
