School of Management organized the strategic seminar and the internal training for teachers at Xijiao Hotel on 10th of January. Leaders from Cooperation Bureau of CAS and UCAS attended the meeting besides the teaching and administrative staff of the School of Management.
Prof. Wang Shouyang, the executive vice dean of School of Management first reported the work had been done in the past year. Through his report, the teachers had a better understanding of what pressure and difficulties and opportunities the school was facing. He hoped that all the teachers could work closely together to make the school a top school of management.
Prof. Cheng Siwei, dean of School of Management, paid great attention to the meeting. He had to attend The Third China’s Intelligent City Forum that day, but he came to the meeting after he finished his speech at the forum. Dean Cheng made four points in his talk: set up the vision, make clear the tasks and make strategies of the school; lay emphasis on internationalization, foster talents with four dimensional knowledge structure; improve the level of teachers; actively push forward the cooperation with research institutes. He hoped that School of Management would become a leading school in ten years.
In the internal training session, directors from various departments of UCAS introduced relevant regulations and policies, such as research work, student enrollment, students administration, financial management, talents introduction and so on.
