The opening ceremony of Entrepreneurship MBA program was held on March 6. The ceremony was hosted by Prof. Dong Jichang, the vice dean of School of Management. Prof. Cheng Siwei, Dean of School of Management, Mr. Li Zhilei, the director of Resource Department of Zhongguancun Management Cimmittee, Ms Peng Ling, the director of Beijing National Technology Transfer Center of CAS, Mr. Liu Jianyao, the president of China Science Publishing & Media Group, LTD., some of the professors of School of Management and all of the entrepreneurship MBA students participated in the ceremony.
Dean Cheng Siwei made an address on the ceremony. He pointed out the significance of launching the entrepreneurship MBA: to train a group of entrepreneurs with both innovative ability and management skills. He also put forward the four abilities that an entrepreneur should possess and expressed his hopes towards the students.
Ms Peng Ling and Mr. Liu Jianyao also spoke on the ceremony. They congratulated School of Management on the launching of Entrepreneurship MBA and said that they would try their best to support the program.
Finally the student representative Liu Chunxiao made a speech. Liu Chunxiao was an MBA graduate from School of Management. When he learned that School of Management had launched Entrepreneurship MBA program, he chose to come back to the school to study again. In his speech, Liu Chunxiao expressed his gratitude to the school and his excitement of being able to join in the entrepreneurship MBA program.
It is learned that the entrepreneurship MBA program invites well-known entrepreneurs and scholars in the field of entrepreneurship and innovation to do the teaching. Each student is equipped with two tutors during their study in school, that is, an academic tutor and a tutor from enterprises. The tutors will help students to master professional knowledge and skills and to improve the successful rate of establishing the business.
