Delegation from City University of Hong Kong Visited School of Management

The delegation from City University of Hong Kong (CityU) which led by the Vice President of CityU, Professor Lv Jian, visit School of Management. Vice Dean, Professor Zhao Hong and Professor Dong Jichang, Professor Wei Xianhua, Deputy Director of the International Relation Office, Mr. Xie Yong, and some other faculties of School of Management, received the delegation.

 

The visit of the delegation to School of Management this time is mainly for the discussion on the joint training doctoral program between CityU and UCAS.

 

Professor Zhao Hong, on behalf of School of Management, welcome the CityU delegation, and introduced the academic situation and education mode of School of Management. Meanwhile, Professor Lv Jian from CityU also described the education mode and postgraduate training situation in CityU.

 

Subsequently, Professor Xu Yihong, the Vice President of Chow Yei Ching School of Graduate Studies, CityU, introduced the details of the joint PhD program between two universities. Both parties agreed that this program will play a positive role in promoting high level doctoral education in Hong Kong and Mainland China. Besides, They also discussed the enrollment, the number of the students, and some other details of launching the program.

After the meeting, the delegation visited the CAS- Reuters Financial Risk Research Lab of School of Management.
