On the morning of Dec. 7, 2013, Mr. He Chuanqi, Director of Research Center of Modernization of Chinese Academy of Sciences, was invited to give a lecture to the three doctoral classes at School of Management. Mr. He’s lecture was entitled “Strategic Thinking on China’s Modernization”.
The lecture consists of three parts: what is modernization, basic principles of world modernization, and rational choice of China’s modernization. Mr. He vividly described the basic characteristics of the general modernization, modernization in 2000 and modernization in 2050. He also interpreted 8 models, 10 principles, rules of competition and 10 enlightenments based on the world’s 300 years of modernization process in great details. Finally, from the objective conditions, rational choice, and the coming blueprint, Mr. He shared with the audience the rational choice of China’s modernization.
After the lecture, Mr. He answered qustions from the audience and had in-depth exchanges with them on China’s modernization.
