Vice President of ICBC, the distinguished alumni of School of Management, Mr. Zhang Hongli, was invited to give a keynote speech about "Reflections on the Financial Security" on Siwei Forum on December 28^th.

Executive Dean, Professor Wang Shouyang, Deputy Dean, Professor Zhao Hong and Professor Dong Jichang, Professor Wei Xianhua, Assistant Dean Professor Xu Jian and Professor Lv Ping attended the event. Meanwhile, more than 300 audiences from as well as from Tsinghua University, Peking University, Renmin University and UCAS attended the lecture. More than ten Medias reported the event.

Dr. Zhang Hongli is now the vice president of ICBC. He also has many other important positions in many other financial organizations. He got his MBA degree in the US and his PhD degree in School of Management, UCAS.

Executive Dean, Professor Wang Shouyang hosted the lecture, and conferred the certificate of Honorary Professor to Dr. zhang on behalf of Dean Cheng Siwei. Dr. Zhang showed his gratitude to Prof. Wang, and mentioned that he was willing to contribute to the further development of the School.

In the lecture, Dr. Zhang Hongli first analyzed the relation between the development of the nation and the national finance from a historical perspective; and then, he used stories and cases to analyze the serious consequences caused by the insecurity of finance. He pointed that the financial security will affect the industry, economy, and everyone in the financial industry.

He then shared his opinions about the challenges that China faced and the solutions towards the challenges. He encouraged the students and the alumni to make their own effort to the development of national financial security.
