School of Management Held Strategic Development Seminars

From Jan 8 to 15, administrative offices of School of Management held strategic development seminars respectively.

 

EDP Center and Public Relation Office held the meeting on Jan 8. The directors of the two centers reported what they did in 2013 and what they planned to do in 2014. Prof. Tong Rencheng, Prof. Lu Benfu, Prof. Liu Xielin, Prof. Xu Yanmei, and Prof. Gong Qiguo, who were invited to the meeting, talked on the meeting and gave very useful suggestions after they heard the plans of the two centers. Vice Dean Dong Jichang reviewed the meeting and encouraged the two centers to make innovations in the new year and advance the work to a higher level.    

 

MBA Center held the meeting on Jan 10. Tutor representatives from the institutes of CAS relevant department head from UCAS also attended the meeting. The director of MBA Center raised the theme of the meeting: how to recruit excellent students, how to develop students’ abilities, and how to carry on the work in a more effective way.

 

The participants then had a heated discussion. They made a lot of good advice. Then in the afternoon, the advice was discussed in details. Everyone was full of confidence to face the challenges in the new year. 

 

Graduate Education Management Center and International Cooperation Office held the meeting on Jan 15. Vice Dean Zhao Hong introduced the purpose and meaning of this meeting. Then the directors of the two centers reviewed the work in 2013 and introduced their plans in 2014. Vice Dean Zhao Hong pointed out what should be improved and hoped that everyone would work closely together to develop School of Management.

 

The Executive Office and Student Center held the meeting on Jan. 15. The directors of Student Affairs of UCAS, the deputy director of Financial Department of UCAS, the deputy director of Propaganda Department of UCAS, and the director of Zhongguancun Campus Management Department of UCAS were invited to attend the meeting. Vice Dean Dong Jichang hosted the meeting. He expressed his gratitude to the departments of UCAS for the support they gave to School of Management. Then the participants discussed on the relevant work. The meeting was ended successfully.
