Dr. Michael J. Guo, Executive Vice Director of Research Institute for China’s Development, Durham University, visited School of Management, UCAS on Jan.3rd. Associate Dean Professor Zhao Hong, and international cooperation office staff received the Dr. Michael J. Guo 's visit.
During the meeting, the two sides had a deep discussion in the joint Cooperative Master Programs and the Joint-workshop in April.
The two sides confirmed the details of the "UCAS-Durham” Economics and Environmental Economics Double Degree Master Program. They decided to open the application system to the students in UCAS by the end of January. In this program, the British side will provide 10 scholarship offer to the UCAS students each year.
Meanwhile, the two sides also discussed the Joint-workshop which is planning to launch in April. They proposed the topic, the guests and the launching time of this workshop.
The meeting ended in good atmosphere. They both believed the two sides would have many accomplishments in the further cooperation in the near future.
