Press release on 2014 China Economic Forecast was held in Siyuan auditorium on Jan. 16. The press release was sponsored by Center for Forecasting Science CAS and co-sponsored by China Economic Net and Science Press. People from National Development and Reform Commission, National People’s Congress, Party School of the CPC, UCAS, enterprises and media attended the press release.
The press release was hosted by Prof. Wang Shouyang, Director of the Center for Forecasting Science and Executive Dean of School of Management. He introduced the guest speakers who came to the press release and expressed his gratitude to the society for the support and help given to the Center. Following Prof. Wang Shouyang, Ding Shi, the deputy Editor-in-chief of Economic Daily and Chen Liang, the vice president of Science Press, delivered a speech respectively. They wished the press release a success.
Then Prof. Chen Xikang, Prof. Yang Xiaoguang, Prof. Yang Cuihong and Prof. Dong Jichang released their forecasting reports one by one. Prof. Chen Xikang released Forecast on 2014 China’s GDP Growth Rate. Prof. Yang Xiaoguang released Forecast on 2014 China’s Prices, and Forecast on 2014 China’s Foreign Trade. Prof. Yang Cuihong released Forecast on 2014 China’s Grain, Cotton, Oil-bearing Crops Production , 2014 Global Bulk Commodities Prices Forecast, Forecast of Water Demand by Sector, and Outlook on 2014 China’s Energy Demand and Supply. Prof. Dong Jichang released 2014 China Real Estate Prices Forecast, and Outlook on China’s Logistics Industry 2014.
