The opening ceremony for 2014 spring MBA of School of management was held in No.6 Building, Zhongguancun Park on February 26th. It was hosted by Dr. Lu Tao, the deputy director of Student Affairs Center.
Executive Dean of School of Management, Prof. Wang Shouyang, Executive Director of MBA Center, Prof. Gong Qiguo, all the other staffs from MBA center attended the ceremony.
Professor Wang Shouyang gave the welcome speech at the ceremony. He first welcomed the new MBA students to join School. Then he talked about the history of UCAS and School of Management and also the story of the old scientists of UCAS. He also pointed that excellent faculties and students are the most important measure for evaluating a school. Finally he proposed his wishes to the spring MBA students; he hoped the students could realize their value of life through systematic management knowledge learning in School of Management.
After that, Professor Gong Qiguo systematically introduced the training system and training model of the MBA project. He wished the students could make progress through theoretical knowledge and actual experience in the future.
Finally, the representative of spring MBA students, Ms Wu Di gave a speech on behalf of all the new students.
After the ceremony, the students were given an orientation education. The teachers explained the course training, the career development and the student affairs to the new students.
