Tourism Knowledge Training Program was finished successfully in Changji, Xinjiang Province on March 3rd. This training program lasted for three days, and was for solving the problems that the tourism industry in Changji faced. The main topics of the program are related to how to make full use of Changji's favorable location advantage, tourism industry advantage, market advantage to improve the quality of the tourism in Changji. More than 200 students, who came from Changji Government and the tourism industry participated in this training.

The vice governor of Changji, Ms. Li Cuiling delivered a speech at the beginning of the training course. She pointed out Changji has plenty of tourism resources, how to find the direction of Changji tourism industry is the question that every student should think about. Besides, she also emphasized the significance of this training, and put forward some specific requirements for students.
During the training, Vice Dean of School of Management, Professor Zhao Hong, Assistant Dean, Associate Professor Xu Jian, Associate Professor Wang Qian, Associate Professor Li Hong, and Assistant professor, Dr Liu Ying gave five lectures respectively during the training. The topics of the five lectures are as follows: the brand construction strategy of tourism, how to make tourism become the strategic industry, the frame and method of the revenue management of tourism, the strategy for promoting tourist satisfaction, tourism marketing and the forecasting of the passenger flow at the age of big data.
Director of the Changji Tourism Bureau, Mr. Ren Jianpin participated in the entire training course and organize discussion after each class. After three-day training, the students all felt that they learned a lot. They also hoped that they can have more opportunities to communicate with the professors in the future.
