Taiwan Alumni Association Was Established

Taiwan Alumni Association of School of Management was established on April 12th. The Director of the Alumni Association of UCAS, Mr. Hua Guang, Ms. Liu Ruoyi, Executive Dean of School of management, Prof. Wang Shouyang, Vice Dean, Prof. Zhao Hong and some other professors attended the establishing ceremony. Prof. Wei Xianhua, on behalf of the Alumni Association of School of Management, hosted the ceremony.

 

The ceremony began with the speech by Mr. Hua Guang. He first congratulated the establishment of Taiwan Alumni Association of School of Management. Then he mentioned that the establishment of Taiwan Alumni Association would make great contribution to the development of the alumni association of School of Management and the communication between Mainland and Taiwan. Finally he wished that Taiwan Alumni Association could play important role in the future.

 

After that, Professor Wang Shouyang made the speech. On behalf of Dean Cheng Siwei, he congratulated the establishment of Taiwan alumni association. He pointed that the Taiwan Alumni Association not only included the graduates who came from Taiwan, but also included those Taiwan professors who have once taught in School of Management. With the development of the cooperation between Taiwan and Mainland, he believed that School of Management will become the top business school in the world.

 

Subsequently, the director of the Alumni Association of UCAS, Mr. Hua Guang announced Taiwan Alumni Association of School of Management was established. Besides, the member of the new Alumni were also conferred the certificate during the ceremony.

Some representatives of the former students of School of Management made speeches after the ceremony. They recalled their time at school and hoped they could make contribution to school in the future.

 

Finally, the members of the alumni association discussed the further development and the potential cooperation that the alumni association could have. They expected the alumni association could develop better and better with the efforts of all the members.
