Research Center for China Regional Development – the host of the project “Space Economic Theoretical Model and Its Applied Research in China” held a forum in Xiamen in mid-March. 13 scholars form University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University, and Xiamen University etc. attended the forum.
On the forum, Prof. Shi Minjun, host of the project, made a report entitled Consideration on the evolution of space economic theoretical model in China. He introduced the situation of evolution of space economic theoretical models in China, regional development difference, and driven factors of industry space reconstruction. Prof. Zeng Daozhi, Prof. Zheng Siqi, Associate Prof. Fu Shihe, Associate Prof. Zhu Xiwei, Assistant Prof. Zheng Dan, Post Doctors Liang Han and Chen Li made academic reports on behalf of their teams. The scholars also discussed in depth on globalization and international trades, traffic infrastructure construction, resource environment constraints, local government behaviors, and so on.
