On the morning of May 13, the opening ceremony of the 12th training program of Legend Institute was held in Beijing Foreign Experts Building. Prof. Liu Xiulin of School of Mangement, UCAS made the welcome speech on the ceremony. The trainees then introduced themselves and hoped to learn more in the field of commercialization of research findings.
After the opening ceremony, Prof. Liu made a lecture on “Interpretation of Technology Transfer: U.S. and China”. Then in the following four days, Prof. Chen Baoming from Chinese Academy of Science and Technology for Development lectured on “Law that Promotes Commercialization of Research Findings”. Prof. Sui Xueqing lectured on from Institute of Computing Technology, CAS lectured on “Strategy and Practice of Technology Transfer in ICT,CAS. Prof. Wu Li from Institute of Policy and Management, CAS lectured on “Technology Transfer in Germany-The Case of FRAUNHOFER”. Prof. Tan Hongxin from Tsinghua International Technology Transfer Center lectured on “Theories and Practice of Technology Transfer”.
Finally, the trainees visited the Overseas Students Pioneer Park. The Director of the park introduced the business and vision of the park, and communicated with the trainees. The whole training was successfully finished.
