Analysis of Current Macro Economic Hotspot Questions—The 9th Lecture of “Serial Seminar on Academic Training for Postgraduates and Doctoral Students” was held successfully on June 13th.
The lecture was given by Prof. Li Xuesong, the Vice Director of Institute of Quantitative and Technical Economics, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the Vice Director of Chinese Association of Quantitative Economics. The Vice Dean of School of Management, Prof. Zhao Hong hosted the lecture, Prof. Chen Xikang, Prof. Yang Xiaoguang, Prof. Zhang Lingling attended the lecture.
Professor Zhao Hong first introduced the outstanding academic achievement of Professor Li Xuesong has made. Professor Li Xuesong has been working as visiting scholars in Holland Economic Policy Analysis Bureau and Department of Economics of University of Chicago. Besides, he has published many academic papers in “Chinese Social Science", "Economic Research", "Journal of Quantitative and Technical Economics", "People's Daily" (Theory Edition). Besides, he has also received many academic awards during the past several years.
Professor Li Xuesong began his lecture from "the current international economic environment". He reviewed the current world economy, American, Eurozone, Japanese, Chinese economy, and further lead to the questions of "Chinese structural economic slowdown", "excess capacity", "local debt, shadow banking and real estate market". Finally, he specifically introduced the "fiscal and monetary policy preseting and fine-tuning" and " two countermeasures for steady growth ".
After the lecture, Professor Li Xuesong communicated with the audiences and answered the questions regarding "China economic prospects", "excess capacity" and "manufacturing and real estate development trend".
