The graduation ceremony for 2014 graduates of School of Management was held on July 6 at Zhongguancun Campus. Dong Junshe, Vice President of UCAS, Cheng Siwei, Dean of School of Management, and many other teachers from School of Management attended the ceremony together with 216 graduates, to celebrate the memorable moment.
The ceremony started at 9:00 a.m. Vice Dean Zhao Hong chaired the ceremony. She warmly greeted the family members of the graduates coming to the ceremony. She also expressed her congratulations to the graduates.
Dong Junshe made a passionate speech on the ceremony. He was grateful that the graduates chose to study at School of Management, UCAS three years ago. At the time of graduation, he hoped that the graduates would never stop learning. He hoped that they would always be curious about this world, and keep a rigorous and sincere attitude towards work and study in their future life.
Prof. Shi Yong spoke on behalf of the faculty with School of Management. He gave the graduates three pieces of advice as gifts. Be diligent in work, as diligent work is the only way to one’s job objective. Think more, as independent thinking is the source on innovation. Keep learning, as life is limited and studying is endless.
Ma Jian, He Zhou, and Wang Kun spoke on behalf of all the graduates. They shared their reflections on study, expressed their gratitude to the school, the tutors, the schoolmates, and their families. The wished the school would develop better and better.
Finally, Dean Cheng Siwei delivered a speech on the ceremony. He condensed his insights on life in the 80 years into the following four sentences:
