Taiwan Alumni Association of School of Management Was Established in Taipei

Taiwan Alumni Association of School of Management was established at The Okura Prestige Taipei on the afternoon of July 14. Many well-known figures from the government, the universities, and enterprises were present at the ceremony to celebrate the establishment of Taiwan Alumni Association of School of Management, UCAS.

 

Professor Dong Jichang, Vice Dean of School of Management, UCAS participated in the ceremony on behalf of the school. Dong Jichang said, School of Management had enrolled more than one hundred students from Taiwan in the past ten years. He hoped that Taiwan Alumni Association could be a platform for the communications between alumni and the school, meanwhile, it could create more opportunities for cooperation between Taiwan and mainland China.

 

Lin Join-sane, Chairman of the Straits Exchange Foundation delivered a speech on the ceremony. He said that Taiwan and the mainland were having more and more exchange and cooperation in the field of economy, education, and culture. Taiwan enterprises attracted a lot of investment from the mainland, and meanwhile, Taiwanese went to develop in the mainland and brought a lot of job opportunities to the people there. Mr. Lin said, UCAS is the cradle of academicians. With the education accreditation between Taiwan and the mainland, more and more students went to study in the mainland. He hoped that UCAS could lead the academic exchange between Taiwan and the mainland. Finally, Mr. Lin wished success of the ceremony.

 

Mr. Qiu Hongzhe, President of MITAKE Co. also delivered a speech on the ceremony. As the honorary Vice Director of Taiwan Alumni Association, he expressed his pleasure to take the position. He confirmed the contributions and achievements of School of Management in cultivating professional talents. He hoped the Taiwan Alumni Association could promote exchange between Taiwan and the mainland.

 

After the ceremony, the guests and the representatives of Taiwan alumni of School of Management held an in-depth discussion on the development of the Alumni Association, the communications and cooperation between Taiwan and the mainland. They also wished Taiwan a better development and brighter future.
