The Forum “Enterprise Innovative Development in the Era of Big Data” Was Held Successfully by School of Management

On the morning of Aug. 15, the forum “Enterprise Innovative Development in the Era of Big Data” was held at Zhongguancun Campus jointly by School of Management and Ministry of Industry and Information Technology Software and Integrated Circuit Promotion Center. On the forum, NITE—a joint project aimed to train senior big data analysts was also launched.

 

Mr. Dong Junshe , the Vice President of UCAS, pointed out in his address that the application of bid data was a revolution happening in the era of Internet, and it would have great impact on economy, society and our life style. The purpose of this forum was to discuss how to realize innovative development through the application of big data.

 

Mr. Dai Ruwei, the member of Chinese Academy of Sciences, said that state governance, enterprise decision and even people’s life were confronted with integration of big data. One of the most important tasks for enterprises of the era of Internet was to train talent in the field of big data.

 

Mr. Wang Yigang, Director of Software Industry Department of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology Software and Integrated Circuit Promotion Center, pointed out that talent is the key of big data development. The training of talent in big data must be done to provide support for the development of big data.

 

Shi Yong, Vice Dean of School of Management, Che Pinjue, Vice President of Alibaba Group, Zu Zheng, Head of Big Data Planning Department of Baidu, and Chen Daobin, Vice General Manager of Management Information Department of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, made a speech on the forum one by one. Shi Yong thought that we needed more diversified talents. Che Pinjue pointed out that the compound big data talent would be in great shortage in the future. Zu Zheng showed relevant products of Baidu in the prediction of big data, and Chen Daobin introduced dataware construction of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China.
