On Oct. 28, under the leadership of Professor Maja Makovec Brenčič, Vice President of Universitas Labacensis, and Ms. Danijela Voljč, Dean of Confucius Institute of Universitas Labacensis, the delegation from Slovenia visited School of Management. Mr. Xie Yong, Director of International Cooperation Department of UCAS, Professor Zhao Hong, Vice Dean of School of Management, UCAS, Associate Professor Lu Ping, Dean’s Assistant of School of Management, received the visitors.
Xie Yong expressed welcome to the delegation on behalf of UCAS, and introduced the university from her history, structure, research, teaching and international cooperation. Then Professor Zhao Hong introduced the research, teaching and cooperation in School of Management.
Professor Maja Makovec Brenčič said that both schools had a lot of similarities in schooling philosophy, especially in education and research innovation. She introduced the construction and development of subjects in their school, and expected to have more cooperation with UCAS.
Ms. Danijela Voljč also said that more than half of the coursed in Universitas Labacensis were taught in English. The university had most famous summer semester in Europe, which attracted student from over 40 countries. She hoped to open the program to UCAS in the future to promote the exchange between the two schools.
