Asian Brand Forum (2014) was held on Nov. 24 in Shenzhen. The theme of the forum was “Brand Asia, Win in China; Chinese Dream, Brand Dream”. The forum attracted more than 300 guests including government officials, leaders of chamber of commerce, experts, industry leaders, brand managers, senior investors, and reporters. 30 speakers were invited to express their opinions about brand on the forum.
Vice Dean Zhao Hong attended the forum and made a speech on the forum at the invitation. Her speech was entitled “Value Promoting Strategy of Chinese Brands”. In her speech, Professor Zhao analyzed the brand from five aspects: quality, culture, service, image, and management. She said that we should emphasize the sentimental value of brands. If customers were moved, and they love the brands from the insight, they would stick to the brands. And that would be the highest end of brands. Professor Zhao also talked on how to increase the value of Chinese brands and how to gain premium return of the brand value.
