Right before the New Year’s Day, the volunteers of School of Management arrived at the Huaibei Nursing Home to do the cleaning for the aged residents thereon the afternoon of Dec. 30, 2014.
The volunteers were warmly welcomed by the aged. They were smiling with satisfaction when they got the fruit distributed to them and chatted with the volunteers.
The director of the Nursing Home arranged the volunteers to clean the rooms for the aged. During the cleaning, the volunteers learned about the lives of the aged through chatting. They felt lonely during the festivals since they could not get together with their families. So the volunteers tried to bring happiness to them through various activities.
The voluntary services organized by School of Management were attracting more and more young students, who would love to do something for the society, for those who needed help.
