Because of the effort that Professor Shi Kan has made for promoting scientific and technological progress in the Military, Prof. Shi Kan was awarded the 1st Prize of Technological Progress Awards by the General Staff Headquarters of Chinese people's Liberation Army in Dec. 2014. The project that supervised by Prof. Shi Kan is "The Model Construction and Application System of the Competency of Junior Officers ".
In addition, he also won the 1st prize of outstanding achievement award by the Committee of Shandong for excellent achievement in soft science. The project that supervised by Prof. Shi Kan is "The Research and Demonstration of the Culture Construction in Coal Mine Enterprises based on Comprehensive Informatization”.
