How to Make High Level Scientific Research and How to Publish Academic Articles in International Journals—The 13th Lecture of “Serial Seminar on Academic Training for Postgraduates and Doctoral Students” was held successfully on January 6th.
The lecture was given by Professor Wu Desheng, who came from University of Toronto, Canada. The Executive Dean of School of Management, Prof. Wang Shouyang hosted the lecture.
Professor Wu first explained how to do research. He pointed that following the trend and choosing the interested direction are the most important two aspects. Then he gave systematic suggestions on how to publish high level articles on academic journals. He divided the process of writing articles to six steps: Start early, Gather your sources, Read Actively and Mimic, Edit "infrastructure" document, researching your topic, developing your paper, namely, “Start GRE&RD”. He added plenty of his own experiences in the speech.
After the speech, Prof. Wang Shouyang gave a summary talk. They communicated with the audiences on the writing and revision of the academic articles.
