The Director of the Finance Association of UCAS, the Vice Director of the innovation entrepreneurship and Venture Capital Association of UCAS, and also the alumnus of School of Management, UCAS, Mr. Song Baoyu was invited to give a Entrepreneurship Lecture to the students in UCAS.
Mr. Song Baoyu first shared his own entrepreneurial experience with all the students. After graduation in 2011, he worked for a state-owned enterprise in his hometown. However, the low salary and pressed working environment there pushed him to begin his own business. Therefore, he quit his job and went to Beijing to begin his own business.
After four year development, he has now been the creator and the CEO of Water Orient (Beijing) Co., Ltd., the Operation Director of Baojia (Beijing) Information Technology Co., Ltd.
Regarding the success factors of his business, Mr. Song said it is because of three aspects. First, nowadays, the unified national will, capital, industry and individual are unified together. The government encourages entrepreneurship; therefore the entrepreneurial process becomes more and more convenient. It is a "national public business innovation" era. Besides, he mentioned that the deep technical basis of the students in UCAS and a series of patent from the research projects were all advantages for beginning new business. Finally, according to his own experiences, the School of Management, UCAS has prepared for their own incubators, which will provide the students with free services.
In the Q&A session, Mr. Song Baoyu shared his opinions on the legal knowledge and the financial preparation before entrepreneurship with the audiences. He also reminded the students to be vigilant while choosing partners.
At the end of the lecture, Mr. Song Baoyu encouraged the students to try new different life and to begin their career development way. The lecture ended in good atmosphere.
