The Director of the Institute of Global Business and Strategy Research, Prof. Dong Zeping, Prof. Lin Yibin, and Prof. Lin Yongneng who came from Taiwan Normal University and Taipei University of Education visited School of Management on May 19. Executive Dean of the School, Prof. Wang Shouyang, Vice Dean, Prof. Zhao Hong, Prof. Dong Jichang, Assistant Dean, Associate Prof. Xu Jian, and the Executive Director of EDP center, Mr. Hong Yong, Deputy Director of MBA Center, Mr. Liu Chunxiao and international cooperation office received the visit.
Prof. Wang Shouyang first welcomed the visit of three guests from Taiwan. Subsequently, each director introduced the situation of the development of School of Management, especially in establishment of collaborative innovation platform, the promotion of creative industry park, and the development of smart city project and so on. At the same time, the guests also introduced the experience that Taiwan got in such similar projects.
They discussed the current situation and the prospect of cooperation between Mainland China and Taiwan. Taiwan Normal University is famous for the fusion of art and management, and Taipei University of Education is also experienced in cultural and creative industries. Both universities have plenty of potentials in cooperation with UCAS. The three sides expressed that they should strive to expand in the field of degree education, non-degree education, scientific research and other areas of cooperation, and to seek greater development space for the three sides.
