Prof. Jakob de Haan from Groningen University of Netherlands visited School of Management and made an academic speech. Vice Dean of the School, Prof. Zhao Hong, Prof. Yang Haizhen, and Prof. Yang Xiaoguang and students attended the speech.
Prof. Jakob de Haan’s speech was entitled "Inequality Income, and Ethno-Linguistic Fractionalization Capitalism". It began with one of his academic papers, and talked about the relationship between income inequality and economic freedom and the relationship between income redistribution and ethno-linguistic fractionalization. His paper is based on analyzing towards the samples from 108 countries and has been published on AER.
The atmosphere of the speech was quite good, the students and professor who listened the speech proposed plenty of questions regarding to the speech.
