School of Management Held MBA “Challenge Cup” Entrepreneurship Competition

To encourage entrepreneurship and innovation, School of Management launched MBA “Challenge Cup” entrepreneurship competition. The final was held on July 3 at Rong CAS Incubator. Several well-known entrepreneurship supervisors and investors attended the final and acted as judges. They were Mr. Bai Jianwei, the Assistant Director of Committee of CAS Science and Technology Promoting Economy Funds, Mr. Wang Meng, the Assistant Director of CAS Beijing State Technology Transfer Center, Mr. Liu Xiaoyi, the Deputy Director of Peking University Technology Transfer Center, Ms. Fan Qiong, General Secretary of Peking University Science and Technology Financial Cooperation League, Mr. Guo Feng, Partner of Dianliang Investment, Mr. Shen Botao, Partner of Kaola Capital, and Mr. Sun Dianfeng, CEO of Daimeng Capital.

 

7 venture projects entered the final. They were: Kuaika Film, Beijing Shishen Science and Technology Co., Intelligent Central Conditioners, Intelligent Home Furnishing Technology, Malink, Sister Knows, and Beijing Fansi Science and Technology Co. All these ventures were started by MBA students of the School of Management.

 

The founders of the projects introduced their projects in details in turn. The panel raised a lot of professional questions. After heated discussion, the panel rated the projects. Kuaikan Film won the first prize of the competition.

 

After the competition, the entrepreneurship teams communicated with investors and discussed on the investment and cooperation afterwards. The competition was completed, but the entrepreneurship of MBA students would continue.
